Relief Chef

Overview

Temp All Staffing are currently recruiting for Relief Chefs (CDP/Sous Chef level) on behalf of our client, a sports venue in Exeter who are looking for a large pool of staff to work events from October 2026. The successful candidates will be working as part of catering teams, responsible for the preparation and serving of meals to customers. You will ensure a high level of service in accordance with health and safety regulations and good housekeeping within the department.

Job Role

• To be overall responsible for the day to day running of your section
• Assist with the preparation of food and the serving of all meals to customers.
• Working as a team to ensure that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy.
• Ensuring all food and health and safety regulations are followed.

Your Skills and Experience

• Experience in a contract catering related environment
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Ability to follow instructions
• Basic Food Hygiene and Basic Health and Safety certificates are advantageous but not essential
