Quality Manager (Bespoke Manufacturing)

Overview

We are looking for an experienced and practical Quality Manager to join our bespoke manufacturing business. This is a key role for someone who can take ownership of quality standards across the business, support production teams, work closely with customers and help drive continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will ensure our products, processes and documentation meet customer expectations, internal standards, certification requirements and relevant management system obligations. You will work closely with production, technical, operations and site teams to identify quality issues, investigate root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

The Role

• Maintain, develop and improve quality standards.
• Support right-first-time manufacture within a bespoke production environment.
• Investigate non-conformances, customer concerns and product defects.
• Agree and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop practical quality procedures and inspection methods.
• Support compliance with ISO standards and regulatory certification.
• Prepare for internal and external audits.
• Monitor costs like scrap, rework and returns.
• Coach operators and team leaders on standards.
• Work professionally with customers and suppliers.

Your Experience/ Requirements

• We are looking for someone who is hands-on, organised and confident working in a manufacturing environment. You should be able to communicate clearly, solve problems practically and build strong working relationships across different teams.
