Quality Controller

Overview

Temp All Staffing are recruiting for a Quality Controller/ Quality Checker on behalf of our client. Our client is a world-class grower, packer, and supplier of quality fresh fruit. They are a values-driven organisation focused on supplying the best service to customers year-round through a dedicated and valued team.

Job Role

1. Quality & Operations

• Manage the packhouse and make sure all produce meets high standards.
• Meet daily targets and keep paperwork accurate and up to date.
• Maintain 100% product tracking and perform regular quality audits.

2. Efficiency & Costs

• Hit budget targets and keep waste/product rejections to a minimum.
• Monitor shelf-life and report any issues with a plan to fix them.
• Clearly explain quality needs to the production team.

3. Customer Standards

• Be the go-to person for customer needs and solve problems quickly.
• Keep the site clean and compliant with food safety (BRC) standards.
• Make sure every order meets the customer’s specific requirements.

4. Teamwork

• Help out other departments and cover for colleagues when they are off.
• Take part in training and team meetings to help the business grow.

5. Rules & Safety

• • Follow all laws regarding health and safety, food hygiene, and data privacy (GDPR).

Your Experience/ Requirements

• Experience: Previous quality control experience within a similar environment is desirable
• Must drive or like in Ardleigh
• Skills: A leader who can multi-task and communicate well.
• Mindset: Detail-oriented, good with data, and takes ownership of their work.
• Vibe: A dedicated team player who stays calm under pressure.
