Management Accountant

The Role

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
• Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
• Utilize accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms to streamline financial operations.
• Oversee financial management activities including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Mentor and support junior team members in their professional development and daily tasks.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to financial accounting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.

Your Experience/ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role within the financial services sector.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or equivalent systems.
• Solid understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounts payable management and financial accounting practices.
• Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to mentor team members effectively and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Relevant certifications such as CPA or CMA are preferred but not mandatory.
