Kitchen Porter

Overview

Temp All Staffing Ltd are currently recruiting for Kitchen Porters on behalf of our client, an events venue in Stromness. You will be responsible for the cleaning of the kitchen and the washing of crockery, cutlery, and cooking equipment. As a Kitchen Porter, you will contribute to a passionate and friendly team working in a fast-paced environment.

Must be available to work Thursday 15th – Thursday 22nd October

The Role

• Ensure kitchen areas and cooking equipment are cleaned to the highest of standards.
• Provide a variety of manual tasks to support the smooth running of kitchen
• Management of kitchen waste such as correct disposal of food waste and clearing refuse areas
• Maintain health and safety standards at all times.

Your Experience/ Requirements

• Previous kitchen experience
• Work well in a team as well as the ability to work independently
• Excellent timekeeping and reliability
• Work well under pressure and to tight timescales
• Have a safety-first mind set
