Kitchen Manager

Overview

Temp All Staffing are currently recruiting a Kitchen Manager on behalf of our client, a 60-bed hotel in Alcester. The successful candidate would need to be able to run the kitchen team, recruit, organise rotas and step in to support all roles within this area, whilst working closely with the Restaurant Manager and Front of House to ensure good communication.

Job Role
  • Oversee the operation of the kitchen, ensuring the team produce and serve a high level of consistent food products
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of all current Health and Safety laws in particular food safety
  • Lead a team
  • Ensure that all food is prepared, cooked, and presented quickly and efficiently
  • Maintain a high GP
  • Staff training and development
  • Food ordering and stock levels
  • Ensure correct staffing levels, taking an active role in recruitment and onboarding
Your Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations.
  • Excellent managerial skills
  • Ability to remain focused, thrive under pressure and to challenging deadlines
  • Strong team player
