Children’s Residential Senior Support Worker

Overview

Temp All Staffing are currently recruiting for Senior Support Workers on behalf of our client. You will be responsible for supporting children with Learning Difficulties within a residential home setting. In addition to ensuring the safety and welfare of the children, you will also be responsible for the leadership and guidance of a team of support workers and assisting the home manager.

The Role

• Meeting the needs of the Children and Young people in line with Ofsted regulations
• Organising and facilitating Social Activities
• Maintaining the home
• Responsible for staff supervisions, leading shifts, placement plans and risk assessments.
• Coordinating staff rotas
• Share of on-call duties
• Supporting educational needs of the children

Your Experience/ Requirements

• NVQ 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent
• 1 years’ childcare experience
• Full UK driving license with access to own vehicle is essential.
• Flexible, reliable, and adaptable
• Ability to work both day shifts and occasional sleep in shifts
