Plant Operator

Overview

Temp All Staffing is pleased to announce a permanent career opportunity for a AD Plant Operator on behalf of a premier client in the farming and food production industry production sector.

The Role

Core Responsibilities:

• Maintenance: Execute planned and reactive repairs on machinery, vehicles, and site infrastructure (including heating/environmental systems) to minimise downtime.
• Cost Control: Support cost reduction by using parts and labour efficiently and assisting with part procurement.
• Quality & Safety: Maintain high standards of repair to ensure site safety and operational continuity.
• Compliance: Adhere to Health & Safety legislation, use proper PPE, and keep training certifications current.
• Teamwork: Coordinate with other departments to prioritise urgent workloads and assist in wider site tasks.

Key Tasks:

• Diagnose faults and perform timely mechanical and structural repairs.
• Conduct routine equipment and vehicle servicing.
• Manage maintenance stock levels and time logs.
• Implement preventative maintenance to reduce long-term failures.

Your Experience/ Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Plant Operator ideally as a AD Plant Operator
• Experience within a agricultural/ horticultural or general building environment is preferred
