Temp All Staffing Ltd are currently recruiting for a Dispatch Operative on behalf of our well-known client, who specialise in the manufacturing of high-quality bespoke products for the construction industry, based in Colchester Essex. Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Dispatcher . The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling goods movement, stock control, quality checks, and logistics operations. This role requires efficient coordination of deliveries, inventory management, and the ability to operate a forklift to ensure seamless operations and timely dispatch of products.

Shifts

• Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4pm
• Weekends Off
• Day time hour

The Role

• Responsible for handling goods movement, stock control, quality checks, and logistics operations.
• Requiring efficient coordination of deliveries, inventory management, and the ability to operate a forklift to ensure seamless operations and timely dispatch of products.
• Accurately book goods in Clarity Software upon arrival.
• Track and control stock levels, ensuring materials are accounted for.
• Unload and load vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Transport delivered products to the correct department within the factory.
• Operate a forklift to move heavy materials and finished goods as required.
• Conduct QC checks on finished products before dispatch to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Pack and secure goods properly to prevent damage during transportation.
• Liaise with the production and administration to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and stock movements.

Your Experience/ Requirements

• Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings to verify correct specifications of dispatched products.
• Experience with sheet metal
• Ability to read CAD
• Forklift license preferred
• Familiarity with Clarity Software preferred
• Ability to lift and handle heavy goods safely.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control experience.
• Good organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with multiple departments.
